About Us
Republic Lacrosse is a club sport that is not sponsed by the Republic School District. It started because our kids wanted to learn and play the game. The parents through a team effort help support our kids throughout the year. There is lots of different things that parents can do to help be involved. Just ask any Lacrosse parent and come to our meetings. Contact us for more information.
We are a 501c7 Organization in the state of Missouri
Donations are always welcome!

Lacrosse is a very exciting game to watch or play, and it is truly an American sport. Native American tribes, primarily in the northeast, have played the game for centuries. French colonialists, upon seeing the curved, netted sticks that were being used to play the original game, confused the device with the Bishop's crook - and called it "La Crosse". In many of the New England and Atlantic Coast high schools, lacrosse is as popular as football and baseball. Lacrosse has grown to be a major collegiate and professional sport in the United States.
